Your batteries should arrive almost fully charged but looking after the batteries is very important. Before your first use you should fully charge the batteries, overnight if you must. Putting the batteries on charge after every use is very good practice and will keep them at peak condition for the longest. If a period of eight weeks pass and the batteries haven't been used it is highly recommend that you fully charge them. Never leave the batteries on charge for more than 24-hours as this can do serious damage to them. Read the information sheet that comes with your delivery for more information.
Installing your new batteries will be very simple and you should refer to your manual on the process. There will be two separate battery pack holding each battery, you must take these off the scooter (making sure no power is running through the scooter beforehand), open them up, take the old batteries out and replace with the new ones. A piece of advice is to take pictures every step of the way so you can refer to them once you are installing the new batteries.
