When the order is delivered to you the batteries will be almost fully charged, but you still need to charge them before first use, the charger will have lights on it indicating whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, you may well be impatient just to fit and use the equipment but it's well worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life span
You may notice that it will take up to ten charges and associated use in your device before the batteries are capable of taking a few capacity charge, this is normal, charge your new batteries after each and every use, they are capable of many charges but this will be reduced if you run them down in-between, do not try to discharge the batteries fully, this can reduce life span quite drastically so cost you money in the long run, there may be extended periods where they are not being actively used, if so ensure they are charged first and then recharged every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
The battery cells are constructed using absorbed glass mat technology or probably better known as AGM, they are also valve regulated sealed lead acid or VRLA, this is the recommended type of battery for this installation, they will not leak if mounted on the side so safe to be used indoors without the fear of spillage and suitable for electric powered vehicles
