This page provides information regarding the Invacare-Stream powered wheelchair battery replacement. This is for a pack of two 12v 50ah batteries. Our rechargeable batteries are valve-regulated, AGM-sealed lead acid.

Maintenance of your battery
To ensure the longevity of your new battery, you must ensure you follow a few simple instructions. It is advised that you store your batteries fully charged. Please do not leave them in a low state of charge for an extended period, as this can damage the battery. To avoid this, never allow them to be fully discharged, and do not drive on heavily discharged batteries, as this will strain them excessively and shorten their life expectancy. Be sure to charge a discharged battery as soon as possible. If your Mobility scooter is not used for a while, for example, more than two weeks, the batteries must be charged at least once a month to maintain a full charge, and always charge before use.

Batteries may contain substances that could be harmful to the environment if disposed of in places, such as landfills, that are not appropriate according to legislation.
