Charging and maintenance:
The battery must be recharged for at least eight hours in order to guarantee that it receives its full charge capacity. Loss of charge is a possibility during storage and transportation. To recharge the battery, simply leave the device plugged into an AC outlet. The device can be charged in both the on and off settings. If storing your UPS for a period of time, ensure to keep fully charged before storing, and recharge every three months.
Replacing batteries:
To ensure safety, turn off and unplug all connected devices before you start. The UPS can then be disconnected from the AC power source and switched off. Next, remove the front panel of the UPS by fully unscrewing the top and unscrewing two screws from the battery compartment cover. The old battery cables should be unplugged after removing the batteries from the container. Replace the batteries in the compartment after connecting the wire bundle (one red and one black wire) to the connector from the battery pack. Replace the front panel on the UPS and secure the battery compartment cover with the retaining screws. Charge the UPS for eight to sixteen hours before using.
