GXT5-5000IRT5UXLE and GXT5-5000IRT5UXLN are two models of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems manufactured by Vertiv. These UPS systems are designed to provide reliable backup power in case of a power outage or other electrical disturbances.
Both models have a maximum power capacity of 5000VA and 5000W and are equipped with internal batteries that provide backup power for a limited time. The UPS systems also feature an automatic voltage regulator (AVR) that stabilizes the incoming AC voltage to protect connected equipment from voltage fluctuations and surges. Once batteries are installed into UPS machines, most of the maintenance is taken care of by the UPS itself. There are however, a few things you should be doing to ensure the batteries have a long life and provide you with the backup you require. To start, after installation make sure you allow them to sit without any load for a while to ensure a full charge before being put to work. Secondly, batteries get hot, that’s just the nature of them so make sure that it has plenty of ventilation and not being used as a table. Lastly, the batteries are of course capable of way above 40% load but if possible try to keep them below that.
