The batteries are the recommended valve-regulated lead-acid type. They are valve-regulated and absorbed glass mat, so they will not spill when mounted on their side. They are also non-hazardous, so they are safe for use in busy data centres.
These batteries are recyclable, so when they have eventually reached the end of their working life, please ensure they are directed to a recycling centre for processing into something else.
