Charging and maintenance:
The battery must be recharged for at least 8 hours to ensure it reaches its full charge capacity. Loss of charge is a possibility during storage and transportation. To recharge the battery, simply leave the device plugged into an AC outlet. The device can be charged in both the on and off settings. If storing your UPS for a period of time, ensure it is fully charged before storage, and recharge it every 2 months.
Replacing batteries:
To ensure safety, turn off and unplug all connected devices before you start. The UPS can then be disconnected from the AC power source and switched off. Next, remove the front panel of the UPS by fully unscrewing the top and unscrewing two screws from the battery compartment cover. The old battery cables should be unplugged after the batteries are removed from the container. Replace the batteries in the compartment after connecting the wire bundle (one red and one black wire) to the battery pack connector. Replace the front panel on the UPS and secure the battery compartment cover with the retaining screws. Charge the UPS for 8 to 16 hours before use.
