You may not notice it, but it typically takes a few charges and uses before your batteries can achieve full capacity. This is a normal part of the conditioning process. After using your equipment, recharge it as soon as possible; don't leave it in a partially discharged state longer than necessary. Avoid intentionally discharging the batteries, as this can harm them and reduce their lifespan. If you're not using the batteries for an extended period, remember to recharge them every four weeks, and never store them while discharged— even partially. Additionally, do not leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours at a time.

The battery type is AGM, short for absorbed glass mat construction; it is also valve-regulated. This means they can be used in electric vehicles around the home or on the road without fear of leakage, with the deep-cycle properties this type of installation requires. They require no maintenance throughout their lifespan and are non-hazardous, so they are safe for travel, including by air, but you should check with your airline when booking your ticket.
