The IPC 1050 DP or MSUB00404 is powered by two sealed lead batteries, and that is what is on offer on this page. They are 12v each and combine in the sweeper to output 24v. They will come with a good charge, but you should still charge them when they arrive and before first use. If there will be a long period when they are not used, also recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
Fully charge the batteries after every use; leaving them discharged will never do them any good. It will take around 10 uses and recharges before the batteries will be capable of accepting a full-capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries go through at the start of their busy lives.
