UPS systems are incredibly important to many offices around the world and General Electric produce some of the best. They are there to provide instant emergency power to a load when the main input power fails, protecting your valuable data. So when it's time to install new batteries, you should not delay. The batteries required by these machines are 20 12-volt 7Ah batteries in two modules, for a total of 40 batteries, and that is what is on offer here.

Battery life expectancy is between two and five years once in the UPS; this, of course, depends heavily on how they are used and could last much longer if treated correctly. To help it last longer, keep the UPS system in an air-conditioned room with good ventilation, and don't use it as part of the office furniture. They will be on 24 hours a day, so they will get hot, which is normal. To keep the temperature down, try to keep the load below 40%; however, they can, of course, handle much more.
The batteries will arrive basically fully charged and ready to install; however, once they are in the UPS, you need to allow them time to complete a full charge. During this time you should run it without any load as it will not be able to offer the full runtime protection, this is the same with every UPS.
