Even though the batteries that we will send out to you will almost be fully charged the UPS will still need to fulfil and complete a full-service charge when installed. during this interim period, you should note that your system will not be able to offer you its full runtime protection until it has finished this task. if you have the opportunity it will be best to run the system without a load to start so it can properly reset itself to the new energy level.
You could reasonably expect this battery to last between two to five years in this kind of device. how it's used however will determine this, and ensure the system is not buried under piles of paperwork as they often are in an office. the batteries get hot, the hotter they are the shorter their lifespan. keeping the load low will also help extend the life span, in an ideal world keep it below 40%. they are so often run to the edge of their capabilities, while they may be more than able to, it will be at the expense of the life span.
These are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries and will not leak so there is no problem installing them in tower or rack systems as they can be fitted on their side. both AGM and VRLA, are not-hazardous so safe for busy data centres as well of course as the home office.
