Sunrise Medical's Quickie Samba, Samba 2, and Lite versions are powered mobility chairs that can be easily dismantled for transport and feature adjustable settings, including centre of gravity, to improve stability, performance, and comfort. The standard fit for batteries on all these models- that is, the Samba, the Lite, Original, and 2 versions is 40Ah batteries; this offer is for 50Ah batteries to directly replace them for a longer runtime or more miles per charge.
The batteries are sealed lead-acid, valve-regulated (VRLA), with AGM technology; they will not leak and can be safely laid on their side, making them ideal for transport and safe for flying, although you should check with your airline when booking your flight.
The batteries will come out to you almost fully charged, but you should still charge them before using, also charge after every use, do not leave them sitting in a partially discharged state any longer than necessary, also if not using them for long periods then charge every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 20 hours, following these simple rules will go a long way in maintaining a longer life of the cells.
