To ensure the batteries last as long as possible, make sure the UPS is in a well-ventilated space, and none of the vents on the UPS are obstructed. It also helps to have a relatively low load; around 40% or less is ideal. Both of these measures ensure the batteries won’t overheat.
Although you should receive the batteries almost fully charged, we recommend running the UPS without a load after fitting them to ensure they are fully charged before being put to use.
