For the longest service life, recharge fully after every ride, and top the pack off at least once a month if the quad bike sits idle during the off-season, since lead-acid batteries lose capacity fastest when left in a deep-discharge state.
Lead-acid batteries are among the most recycled consumer products in the world, with the lead, plastic case, and electrolyte all reclaimed through standard battery recycling programs. Please take the old batteries to a local recycler or retailer take-back point once this compatible replacement is installed.
A higher-capacity 26Ah upgrade option is also available for this pack, giving longer ride times between charges than the standard cells.

This is a set of five 12V sealed lead acid batteries that should be wired in series into your existing box. Replacing them is simple, just do one at a time so you can remember where each of the wires should go.
