The Days Strider-ST4 and ST4D mobility scooter comes with all-round suspension and good ground clearance to help it be used on or off road; with the state of some of our pavements, it's not always easy to tell the difference. It has a top speed of 8 MPH on pneumatic tires. As standard, it comes with a pair of 12V 50Ah batteries, and this offer covers that. The dimensions of the batteries are further below.

The batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid with absorbed glass mat technology; they will not leak and can be safely mounted on their side without fear of spillage, so use on rough terrain won't pose this issue. They are also non-hazardous and safe for public transport and even flying. Please confirm with your airline when booking your flight.
It is important to look after your new investment in batteries for your Days Strider-ST-4; you should fully charge them before first use. We recommend charging them after every trip. It will do them no good whatsoever if you let them sit discharged; it will serve you well never to use the last 20% of the energy capacity. This will go a long way to allow them to live a full life. Also, if not used for long periods, a top-up charge every 8 weeks will help arrest the natural self-discharge that occurs over this time scale.
