This is a valve regulated sealed battery, constructed as a AGM. this means it will not leak and requires no maintenance, if you have the opportunity charge when it arrives, but there will probably be enough energy to charge on the bikes engine after its started if that is not possible, make sure the first charge is a good one as this is always important. These batteries are probably mainly found on motorcycles, and if used all year round will provide good service. if however they are only used when the sun is out and its dry then that leaves a large proportion of the year sitting dormant, during these periods recharge the battery every 4-weeks. assuming there is nothing draining the cells like a alarm system or immobiliser and you will still have a good battery when the sun eventually pokes its head round the corner next season.
