We have seen a number of these batteries installed on equipment imported from the far east, from leisure use through to portable mobility scooters. They differ from the bulk of the batteries in Europe because of the terminal type. We are now offering a replacement, so you do not have to change the terminals when you replace them.
This battery is VRLA or valve-regulated lead acid and AGM. It will not spill and is ideally suited to smaller electric-powered vehicles as not hazardous.
You should fully charge your new battery when it arrives and is first used. It should not take long as it will be delivered almost fully charged.

As this battery is mostly made of Lead (Pb), which is recyclable, then please do your utmost to make sure it is recycled when the time comes. Depending on use and care, it should last somewhere between 2–5 years so one trip to local recycling centre shouldn’t be an issue. If you are unsure where this is then your local council will be able to advice you.
