After you have unpacked your new battery order from us you will note that they will have a good charge in them, regardless of this you still need to complete a full charge before first use, it should not take that long to finish the charge, just until the charger lights indicates its ready, if really in doubt overnight will be more than enough but it's doubtful you would need to leave it that long, do not be impatient, wait until this first charge has completed before thinking about using the equipment, it will contribute to overall battery life
