Replacement BB BP17-12 BP and BP1712 battery, rechargeable 12v valve regulated lead acid non spillable, not-hazardous batteries often seen in UPS systems and mobility scooters.

If you are using these batteries in a device with constant mains power like a computer uninterruptible power supply then the on board equipment with take care of the charging regime for you.
If however you are responsible for the charging then charge fully before first and as soon as you can after each and every use, it does this kind of battery no good sitting around in a discharged state, it will always be far better to not discharge below 50% if you can and charge every 8-weeks if not being used, these tips will prolong the battery life.
