Looking after your new Discover Atlas 6mph batteries is pretty simple if you follow a couple of basic rules and any advice from the manufacturer. Rule number one: After every use, put it on charge and do not use it again until it's fully charged. This shouldn’t take more than a few hours. If the battery isn’t going to be used for six weeks, a top-up charge is required to stop, or at least slow down, the natural self-discharge that all rechargeable batteries undergo.
Please note that we have often found engineers and customers alike get confused by this battery size. It is not the normal standard size you would find on the high street, so please be careful when comparing. Our batteries are confirmed to fit the Discover Atlas 6mph version we have seen; the others most likely do not. Double-check, and contact us if you would like confirmation.
