This set contains a total of twenty batteries. They are valve-regulated sealed lead acid, AGM, and they will not leak if mounted on their side, so that this system can be used in tower or rack mount configurations.
The expected battery life in this installation is between 2-5 years. One factor that can significantly affect battery life is the lack of ventilation in the communications room where they are sited, so be mindful of this.
