First and foremost, this model of mobility scooter has been seen in several versions; not all will be suitable for this service. Check the pictures supplied; does your battery box look like this, and is it 10 or 10.5 Ah? If so, we can help you. If you are in any doubt about whether the box looks different, send us a picture, and we will advise.

• Komfi Rider Marlin battery replacement

This offer on this page is for us to pick up your battery box in our heavy-duty transport container, bring it back to our warehouse, and install a brand-new Komfi Rider Marlin lithium battery cell. We will then send your battery box back for you to take out and install on your mobility scooter; in all, depending on the courier, it is about a three-working-day turnaround.

The fitting of this lithium-type battery is not straightforward, we will do this for you at our workshop, please ensure you read the steps below so you understand the procedure.

1. Ensure the box looks the same and order the service
2. Please tell us a suitable date for collection, when a driver will come to your collection address with a large, heavy-duty, transportable box for you to place your battery inside.
3. Upon receipt of your battery box, we will inspect it. Then proceed to remove the old lithium battery, dispose of it, and fit a new one.
4. We will confirm the new battery is charging and the box is outputting the relevant voltage
5. Your box will then be returned to you for use.

If at any point it's apparent there could be an issue with your equipment, we will stop and talk to you before proceeding.

Please note, there are only so many of these fitments we can do in a week, so it is first come, first served.

We are also able to convert your existing Komfi Rider Marlin battery box from the standard 10.5ah to 21ah by fitting an extra battery and control module meaning you could double the milage that could be achieved on a single charge, no need for a new charger either, just use your existing one.
