EBC’s or EBM’s are external battery cabinets or modules that can be connected to the main UPS to increase the runtime provided during a blackout. The uninterruptable power supply device that a GXT5-EBC72VRT2U would be connected to is able to take up to ten EBC’s, with six being able to utilize the EBC-detection. They can be used in tower or rack configuration.
