This battery will fit al of the tools within the same range and there chargers so it will pay to look after it, when it arrives and first use make sure it has charge, you may not but its not always apparent that it will take several charges and use in the tool before it is capable of accepting a full capacity charge, this is a normal of conditioning the cells.
The best way to get the most from it is to use it often, if this is just not going to happen then recharge after use and before putting away and every six weeks but do not leave it on the charger for any longer than required to obtain full charge
