The Gallagher S100 is a solar powered fence energiser with a battery to gently remind livestock to maintain a boundary, while the solar panel helps to keep the battery in a charged state it will need replacing in time and you should make a point of checking it does not require replacing periodically as it works very hard and will not last forever.
If you will not be using the equipment for long periods, then charge the battery before putting it away and every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
The Gallagher S100 battery replacement needs no maintenance; it is a sealed AGM. Please read your manual before changing.
