There are two batteries in this set as required for replacement in the Gallagher S200 and S400 Fence Energisers, you should replace both batteries simultaneously.
These replacement Gallagher S200 and S400 batteries will be delivered almost fully charged, but they will have a hard life in front of them, so charge them when they arrive and are first used. If they are not being used for a long period, recharge every eight weeks to keep the cells in good order.
As the Gallagher S200 and S400 are both solar-powered, their well-being will often be directly affected by the sunlight; too little or too much could affect them. Follow the instructions in your manual regarding where they are sited.
The batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead, they require no maintenance and will not spill.
