This Jonsered LT-2318-CM2, LT-2320-CMA2 and LT-2323-CMA2 replacement battery will come out to you almost fully charged. In a perfect world, you should charge it before first use. Your mower will recharge your battery when it's being used, which is fine if used all year round. But, should there be long periods where it is not being used, like the winter season, the best advice we could give would be to disconnect from the frame and recharge every six weeks.
