The Hyundai HY3000sei is a compact petrol driven 28000w generator with inverter powering two 230v power sockets often used in remote places to power off grid, perhaps on a caravan or site as well as marine, the engine is a 149cc four-stroke petrol driven one and this battery is for the electric start on the device.
New Connector - now comes with Spade F2/T2 adapters.
We now supply this battery with a pair of Female spade connectors, this is because on some installations you will have ring and the battery for them is no longer available, you can remove them and add these F2 6.35mm ones for connection to the battery instead, simply crimped on.
Connector Update - we are now supplying the battery with two short bespoke cables, terminated with a spade connection at one end. plus at the other a ring, plus a nut and bolt so it can connect to the existing loop on your generator. Plus two lengths of shrink tube to cover the join. The nut and bolt are 8mm spanner, the shrink tube is activated by heat, a heat gun, hot hairdryer, soldering iron even a lighter with set it so every one will have one of these in the home.
Because these are often used by leisure users its more than possible that the battery gets no maintenance during the winter months and will slowly discharge, this will do not no good at all, we would suggest that during long periods where it not being used that you ensure the battery gets charged every six weeks so its all working as it should for your next vacation.
The battery itself is valve regulated sealed lead, its need no maintenance (except of course to be kept charged if not being used) and will not-spill so safe and not-hazardous
