Charge your new Bosch SDS-24v battery before first use, you may find it will take between five and ten charges to reach full capacity and capable of receiving a full charge. this is part of your duty to condition the battery and will serve you favourably in the future, try to do this in the first couple of weeks of ownership. The other thing to be aware of is not leaving your new battery in a discharged state for long periods, in best practice, fully charge after use and if not using for longer periods then charge every eight to ten weeks to keep the cells active but do not leave on the charger for more than twenty-four hours at a time.
