Has that light started to indicate you need a new battery, they are easy to fit will not take you more than ten minutes, you can refer to your manual for full instructions, disconnect from power pull down the battery cover to expose the batteries, there are two of them taped together, just swap the wires over to the new ones taking care to connect the correct ones, there are only four terminals but its probably best to have the new and the old battery next to each other on the table that way you cannot make a mistake. then of course put it back in the APC UPS, If possible it may be best to run the UPS without any load until the new batteries are fully charged as indicated in the panel, shouldn't take long as they will be pretty much fully charged when they arrive.
