The RBC23 will fit a number of the APC battery backup and power surge systems.
These are hot swap capable batteries for the RBC23; fitting them is straightforward; if you are doing it your self then here are a few tips; before you start, shut down all the computers attached to your UPS and disconnect the cables, then shut down the UPS itself and remove the power lead from the wall socket, remove the front cover and up plug the battery tray to slide it out, put the tray on a flat surface.
You will then see the four batteries and the cable attached to them, it might be an idea to take a couple of pictures with your phone, so you have something to refer to regarding how the wires go. Getting the batteries out of the tray can sometimes be difficult; they are usually stuck to the tray with double-sided tape; the trick is to use a flat screwdriver and lever against another battery to pop them out. Do not lever them against the tray, or you will bend it only against another battery; usually, once the first one has popped off, the rest are more accessible.
