The APC Smart-UPS 1000 is a 1000VA mini tower uninterruptible power supply, and this set of batteries is for the SUA1000 model. This will be marked on the reverse or sometimes the bottom of the UPS system, so you should check before ordering, as there are quite a few models, and some of them have different replaceable units. This will prevent you from ordering the wrong set.
We would suggest, if possible, running the system up without load after you have installed your new batteries, at least until the new batteries have been registered as fully charged. If you can leave them overnight, this will help the system reset itself properly, we know that is not always possible, but in ideal, it would best be our best advice.
