This offer is for a battery pack to insert into the two RBC55 cartridge modules. There is a total of eight batteries for this job. These, in turn, fulfil the requirements for the APC Smart-UPS 5000 system with the model number SUA5000RMI5U. It is a large 5U rack-mountable system that can also be used as a tower with a capacity of 5000VA and 4000 watts.
these battery cells are safe to fit in either the tower or the rack-mounted system as they are sealed lead acid and being absorbed glass mat so they will not leak when on their side and are not hazardous, so deemed safe for use in mission-critical equipment and data centres alike.
The expected life span in this application is between three to five years. This is, of course, in normal conditions with no undue extra load and a well-ventilated suite.
This product is recyclable, but they have an extremely high level of lead. This makes them ideal for recycling as nearly 100% of them can be reused in another product, so please ensure they are directed to a recycling centre at the end of their useful life.
