Pack two batteries required for Stannah-400 mobility stairlift, safe, non-hazardous sealed valve regulated VRLA AGM battery pack at low cost direct to you.

You require two batteries for this stairlift which are included in this pack. Fitting of them is pretty straightforward and will take ten to fifteen minutes. Your batteries site in the cover under the seat, and it's generally on the lower side of the cart, so you will need to be downstairs of the seat to fit them, be sure you disconnect from the mains before you do so.

These are valve-regulated lead acid batteries. They are also absorbed in glass mat or AGM, so they will not-spill and are non-hazardous.

It is a recyclable product, so when they have come to the end of their useful life, please get them to a recycling centre. More information can be found on our recycle page at the foot of this page.

We are often asked if we can supply longer-lasting versions of this battery. We yes and no, about eight times out of ten these stair lifts use a small terminal. We can supply a long-lasting battery, but it has a larger terminal. We can provide a terminal adapter, or you can put new terminals on. Of course, you wouldn't know unless you looked at the battery you have first, which is a pain. We have supplied other options above in the available options so you can make your own choice if you fancy a possible straightforward upgrade.
