To fit the batteries, disconnect the APC Smart-UPS 1500 from the network and mains power. Pull off the front panel, this will show the battery door that has two Phillips screws, undo these and drop down the door, then just slide the old batteries out, place the new ones along side and swap over the cables, its as simple as that.
