This UPS system takes the cartridge module, in this pack there are four batteries which combine to make two units, they are valve regulated and AGM so completely safe and suitable for this purpose, fitting is straight forward and self explanatory. We recommend that after installation it might be an idea to run up the UPS without any load until the batteries are fully charged, this helps to reset the system to the new ones.
This product is recyclable, it has a high content of Pb or lead and ideal for this purpose so when they have reached the end of their life please have them directed to a recycle centre, more information on this subject can be found on our recycle page.

I m happy to write a short review, we had two dealing with the company, first we ordered the wrong batteries, we did not realise there was more than one type of smart UPS 2200, so we had to return those and get the correct ones for our UPS system. we found they dealt with our problem promptly and was a very easy task as they collected the batteries from us and delivered the correct ones then refunded the first order, totally our fault, often its not until things go wrong until you know who a good supplier is.
