If you get the chance it might be a good idea to run the system up without any load for twenty-four hours to allow the new batteries to bed in properly, we know this often does not happen because of convenience, but worth doing if you can.

There are eight batteries in this pack for the module that fits in the APC Smart-UPS 3000XLM with model number SUM3000RMXLI2U. If you are not sure what you have you should check. It's a 3000VA, 2850-Watt rack-mountable and tower auto-sensing Line-Interactive system.

The cell type is VRLA or valve-regulated lead-acid, as such, they will not leak even when mounted on their side which is required in the system depending on the orientation chosen.
