The APC Smart-UPS 3000XL extended runtime model number SUA3000XLI has a rack height of 5U and can also be used as a tower. It has 3000VA and 2700 watts; it takes a cartridge module consisting of four batteries combined to make two units. This is what has been supplied in this pack.
These are valve-regulated lead acid batteries or VRLA and AGM. They are not hazardous and will not spill even if laid on their side, which is required when installing in this UPS, depending on how it is applied. They are safe for use in data centres where many large UPS might be placed.
