This offer is for the standard U1 battery pack for the Pride Celebrity XL, XL-8, Sport, when the mobility scooter was purchased there would have been options for battery set, this is the standard ones, if you have the larger 40ah version then please use the link further down the page, if you do not know then you should spend 5-minutes looking at your batteries and comparing to the specifications below for clarification before ordering, in particular the size of the individual battery pack
Your battery power pack is a important but expensive part of your mobility scooter and it is wise to look after them in the best possible way unless of course you enjoy throwing money down the drain. knowing how to treat them will help you in the long run and help extend the life, charge them in full before first use, be mindful that it will take a few uses of the battery before they will reach full capacity, if you can get away with it never discharge below 50%, we know this may be impractical but do your best to charge straight away after every use, leaving the battery fully or partially discharged will reduce overall life lastly if you are not using for long periods give them a charge every four weeks to keep the cells fresh.
They require no maintenance, except of course charging which we have covered above, they are not-hazardous, they are valve regulated lead acid and AGM, they are safe for use on public transport and airlines, although you should inform them at the time of booking
This product is recyclable, ensure it reaches a recycle point when end of life has been reached, more information can be found on our recycle page
