The batteries will be nearly fully charged when they arrive, but you must still charge them before use because the first charge is always the most important. The following are also critical, so charge after each and every use. Do not attempt to drain the battery; just because they are capable of deeper discharges does not mean you should test them to that extent; doing so will only shorten the battery's life expectancy and cost you money in the long run. If you are not actively using the batteries for any reason, a four-week top-up charge will keep the cells fresh. However, do not leave the charger on for any longer than is absolutely necessary.
Please keep in mind that on rare occasions, we have seen some versions of this battery with reversed terminals. This means that when you face the battery with the terminals closest to you, the positive is on the left, not the right. Unfortunately, this product is not available in the United Kingdom; however, we recommend attempting to make this version work by installing it in a different orientation or by extending the wires.
