Veleco, also known as Velobike are a producer and manufacturer of a wide range of electric vehicles like bikes, mopeds and their main product, the mobility scooter. The Cristal three wheeled mobility scooter strikes the perfect balance between comfort, safety, price and specs and is packed with tons of features not often found on regular mobility scooters. Full suspension is the first big stand out feature along with a LED display, speedometer, odometer, hazard lights and high quality aluminium 10-inch rims.
The Cristal also has plenty of storage space, the first one is a lockable storage compartment under the steering wheel which holds a USB charger. The second is a spacious trunk behind the seat and finally there is one under the seat however this is where the batteries are stored and that’s exactly what is for sale here, a set of five 12-volt 22-ampere rechargeable, non-spill able, not-hazardous, recyclable replacement batteries.

How to charge and maintain scooter batteries?
Although these batteries are classed as maintenance free they still require a healthy charging regime, achieving this is fairly simple if you follow a few rules. The first thing to do after installation is fully charge the batteries before first use. this may not take long as our batteries will have a high percentage of charge anyway. The next step to follow is an important one, always charge your batteries until full after every use and never leave in a discharged state. Having more charge in your batteries makes it healthy and will last longer overall. If there are extended periods where you are not using the batteries you should remember to recharge every four weeks. Do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time.
Installation
Installing your new batteries will be fairly simple and you should look in your manual for detailed advice. They are stored underneath the seat and all five will be connected together to create a 60v circuit which the mobility scooter requires.

These batteries that we are selling here are twenty-two ampere that is already an additional two ampere per battery as the original would have only been twenty ampere. However we can offer LiFePo4 lithium versions of these. They are the same physical size and designed to directly replace the lead acid versions.
