The Travelux Venture produced by Van-Os-Medical (who are very popular in the mobility field) is a small but powerful elevating electric wheelchair with a tight turning radius, allowing the user to maneuver much more easily in small spaces. The Travelux Venture, unlike most other powerchairs, has a unique comfortable elevating seat that allows the user to lower and raise the seat height with the touch of a button which is conveniently located on the side of the joystick. This brilliant new feature will allow you to reach everyday heights that would otherwise be out of reach in other standard powerchairs and wheelchairs. In the chair's standard configuration, the seat height adjusts up to 26 inches for reaching and lowers to 20 inches.

Looking after your new batteries for Travelux Venture
As with any rechargeable battery, charging and maintenance is essential for a long healthy life. There may be many different sources and each will vary slightly but if you abide by a few basic rules, you should be ok. The first thing to do when you receive your batteries is charge them until full before use. You should also be charging until full after every single use as soon as possible and never leave in discharged state, a fully charged battery is a healthy one. If possible, always have at least 20% charge in them after a days use. Lastly if the powerchair is going into storage or won’t be used for a while, fully charge them first. Every five weeks charge them to slow down the natural self discharge all batteries have.
Installation and user manual
The Travelux-Venture as standard comes with a pair of twelve volt, thirty five ampere batteries and that is what we are offering here. They are the same physical size as what you currently have installed so installing them should be a breeze. The hardest part may be the weight of the batteries as they are filled with lead. In the user manual (which you can find on the downloads tab) it lists detailed instructions on how to do this yourself but if you are still unsure please contact a professional. The user manual also hosts a plethora or other useful information that you should have access to in case any problems arise so feel free to download this and keep for future reference.
Environmentally Friendly
These are sealed lead acid batteries, and as the name implies, they are primarily made of lead. This also applies to your old batteries, so please make sure they are taken to a facility that can deal with this product and transform this into something new, as lead is recyclable.
