The casing of this battery is formed from ABS. The cells are AGM valve-regulated lead acid, not hazardous and non-spillable, the battery does not require any maintenance except of course to be kept charged.
You will see that the positive and negative terminals are on the end of the battery.
You should fully charge your new battery when it arrives and first uses. This will take little time as it will have a good charge. Always recharge as soon as you can after use. If not being used for long periods, then you should recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
Recycling:
Please ensure that when this battery has fulfilled its purpose in the years ahead that it eventually gets sent to a recycling centre as its mainly made from lead and is ideally suited to this ending.
