Maintenance of these types of batteries is usually pretty simple because of the nature of them and what they are being installed into. Most of the time, the machine will do all of the work for you in keeping the batteries charged and voltage correct. You should follow all advice and instructions given to you from the manufacturer of the device however there are a couple of simple rules that apply to all batteries. These would be to never leave a battery discharged for longer than absolutely necessary and if not being used, charge once a month.
