As standard, the battery provided with the Subzero SZPA-P12 or P15 from new and what is offered here is a seven ampere. You can, however, upgrade that to a nine ampere with the same physical size and terminals as your previous battery. This increase in ampere will allow the speaker to run for longer in between charges, which is usually quite important in places where this would be used.
To get the most out of your SZPA-P12’s or SZPA-P15 battery, it’s wise to charge it fully before the first use and avoid letting it completely discharge, as deep discharges can shorten the battery’s lifespan over time. You must charge the battery as soon as possible after every use. Also, if the speaker won’t be used for an extended period, make sure to recharge the battery every couple of months to keep it healthy.
