As standard, the X800 Odyssey is fitted with a pair of 75Ah units, but we supply 2 x 80Ah as our baseline because it’s a sensible step up without changing how the chair behaves. If you want extra endurance between charges, there’s also a 92Ah AGM upgrade option for longer run-time and stronger performance under heavier loads. Both options are sealed and maintenance-free and will breathe new life into your mobility scooter.

AGM technology uses an absorbed glass mat to hold electrolyte in place, helping with vibration resistance and improving charge acceptance compared with older-style flooded designs. It’s a solid choice for mobility equipment where bumps, kerbs, and repeated cycling are normal.
For best life, charge after each outing rather than waiting for a deep discharge, and avoid leaving it partially charged for days. Keep terminals snug and clean, store the chair somewhere cool and dry, and if it’s not used weekly, top it up regularly to prevent capacity loss over time.
