The Electric Mobility Rascal Liteway 221 and 224 is a lightweight travel mobility scooter, as standard fit it takes a pair of 14ah batteries and that is what this offer is for. Many people fit the smaller capacity 12ah ones which will not last as long between charger's but we have included a link at the bottom of the page them if that is what you would prefer.

The batteries are valve regulated sealed lead acid, they will not leak with absorbed glass mat technology. They are not-hazardous and safe for public transport and for that matter being flung about in the back of a car.
You should charge your new batteries fully before first use, we would strongly recommend that you charge after every use and if possible try not to use the final 20% of the capacity on a days run. This will help the cells live much monger and save you money in the long run. If there are long periods where they are not being used then ensure that you charge every two months to minimise the natural self discharge that will always occur with rechargeable batteries.
