When you get the batteries from us they will have a fairly high charge in them, but you still need to fully charge them before first use, while you only need to charge until the charger indicates that its finished it is very important and not a step you should overlook, make sure you do not miss the initial charge, doing so may reduce overall life expectancy
You may not notice it but it will probably take a few charges and use in your equipment before you are able to receive a full capacity charge in your batteries, this is quite a normal part of the conditioning process, after you have used your equipment you should get a charge back into it as soon as you are able, do not leave it sitting around in a partially discharged state for any longer than absolutely necessary, do not attempt to discharge the batteries fully, this can reduce life span quite drastically so cost you money in the long run, there may well be extended periods where the batteries are not being actively used, if so ensure they are charged fully beforehand and then recharged every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
These 12-volt batteries are very resilient and can be mounted on the side without any issues so suitable for use in electric vehicles, deep cycle capable which of course is essential in electric powered devices, no leaking, which means they can be used indoors at well as the road or pavement, they are the recommended VRLA type and benefit from AGM technology they are not-hazardous so safe for airlines but you should check with them when you book your flight
