This lightweight travel-sized mobility scooter comes apart into four pieces to make it easier for transportation. It is a three-wheeler, which is particularly good for manoeuvring in small spaces, plus a swivel seat.
Changing Electromotion-Micro-Glide Battery
The battery box contains two 12v batteries connected inside to output 24v, which is what the scooter needs to run. Changing the batteries over to new ones is not very hard. The only tool you need is a Philips screwdriver. Turn the box upside down, and undo the eight screws around the outside, not the two in the middle holding the output plug. Roll the box back up the right way and lift the lid off. You can then see the batteries, change one at a time. There are only two wires on each. Then reverse the order and put it back together; the whole job will take no more than ten minutes.
Please charge your new batteries when they arrive and are first used. Recharge after every use. If not being used, recharge every six weeks to keep the cells fresh for later use.
Recyclable
These batteries are environmentally friendly and can be recycled at a recycling centre. We encourage all users to help the environment where possible. So when they have eventually reached the end of their life and need to be disposed of, please enable them to recycle into something else... perhaps even another battery!
