When your order is delivered to you the batteries will be almost fully charged, but you still need to complete a full charge them before first use, while you only need to charge until the charger indicates that its finished it is very important and not a step you should overlook, you may well just want to fit them and use the equipment, but do not miss this first step, it's worth waiting until the first charge has completed and it might contribute to over life span
